Schedule
- Full-time, 40 hours/week, Monday-Friday
- Hybrid: includes telehealth (requires a private, HIPAA-secure space and reliable internet)
Compensation
- $225,000-$250,000 annually (exempt), based on experience
What You’ll Do
Provide client-centered psychiatric care to a primarily pediatric population:
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, including ordering and interpreting screening and diagnostic tests
- Routine follow-up visits for medication monitoring
- Emergency consultations, evaluations, and follow-ups as needed
- Develop and implement patient treatment plans per established protocols
- Assist in managing referred and complex cases
- Document assessments, treatment recommendations, and continuing-care plans
- Collaborate with physicians, clinicians, support staff, and community resources
- Provide health promotion, education, and counseling for patients and families
- Accept coaching from leadership toward future leadership roles
What You Bring
- MD and active Connecticut physician license
- Current CSP (CT Controlled Substance Practitioner) and DEA registrations
- 3 years of relevant experience (outside of training) evaluating and prescribing for mental/behavioral health patients
- Fluency in Spanish a plus
- EPIC EHR experience a plus
- Growth mindset and interest in future leadership a plus
