Hiring for a Dental Assistant in Bridgeport, CT. 

Temporary role covering a leave for about 2-3 months (potential this could turn into a permanent role!)

Schedule: 40 hour weeks – Mon – Fri; 8:00a – 5:00p, prefer someone that can work one late day until 7 pm. 

May occasionally need to float to other offices in Stratford or Stamford – need to be flexible with this as needed.

MUST have at minimum a DA Diploma (Dental Assistant)

  • Bilingual a PLUS but not required

Pay: $20-25/hr (based on experience!)

Job Description:

  • Assist the dentist during a variety of dental procedures including general dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, and pediatric dentistry.
  • Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available.
  • Record vital signs and medical history information accurately in electronic health records (EHR) system
  • Maintain strict infection control protocols following aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety.
  • Provide chairside assistance during procedures, including four-handed dentistry practices to improve efficiency.

Skills / Qualifications

  • At least 1+ year Dental Assistant experience
  • MUST have a DA certificate / diploma from accredited institution 
  • Proficiency in EMR system
  • Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control practices, and aseptic techniques.
  • Ability to perform chairside assisting efficiently in general dentistry settings as well as specialized fields like prosthodontics and endodontics.
