Licensed Behavioral Health Clinician (Hartford, CT)
An outpatient practice in the Hartford, CT area is hiring a full-time Behavioral Health Clinician to provide counseling services to a diverse patient population.
About the Role
You’ll provide individual and group therapy to clients with mental health, substance use, and co-occurring disorder needs. Responsibilities include intake and assessments, carrying an active caseload, making appropriate referrals, and coordinating with other therapists, physicians, and agencies. Patients range from children to adults presenting with behavioral concerns, depression, trauma, and substance use.
Schedule
- Monday-Friday only; no evenings or weekends
- Monday-Thursday, 9:00am-5:30pm
- Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm
- Full-time, fully onsite (this is not a remote or hybrid role)
Caseload
- 30-35 patients per week with dedicated admin time
Compensation & Benefits
- $59,000-$89,000 annually, based on experience
- Additional bonus for Spanish-speaking clinicians

What We’re Looking For
- Master’s degree in a relevant field
- Active Connecticut independent license (LCSW, LMFT, or LPC)
- New graduates welcome to apply
- Familiarity working with issues related to homelessness, substance use, mental health diagnoses, and trauma
- Bilingual Spanish preferred
- Strong communication skills and comfort working on an interdisciplinary team
