Outpatient Primary Care Physician (Internal Medicine)

Looking for a primary care role where you can focus on patients in a pure outpatient setting? An established outpatient practice in the New Haven, CT area is hiring a board-certified or board-eligible Primary Care Physician to care for an adult patient population!

Schedule

  • Full-time, fully onsite (this is not a remote or hybrid role)
  • Some evening, weekend, and satellite coverage may be required

Compensation

  • $220,000-$240,000 annually, based on experience

What You’ll Do
Provide comprehensive, preventive, and therapeutic primary care to adult patients:

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic conditions
  • Educate patients on preventive care and chronic disease management
  • Coordinate referrals with specialists and other staff
  • Supervise designated PAs and collaborate with APRNs/FNPs
  • Participate in teaching for students, residents, nurses, and PAs
  • Complete timely documentation, notes, and coding

What You Bring

  • MD or DO
  • Board certified or board eligible in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Med-Peds
  • Active Connecticut medical license
  • Completion of accredited residency training
  • Current Basic Life Support certification
