Internal Medicine Physician
A growing outpatient medical practice is seeking an Internal Medicine Physician to join its team in the San Antonio area. This is an opportunity to work in a collaborative, patient-focused environment with a strong emphasis on comprehensive outpatient care.
The practice is open to physicians with a variety of Internal Medicine backgrounds. Vascular experience is a plus, but not required. Physicians with an interest in vascular, vein, wound, lymphatic, or related care will have opportunities to develop additional expertise, with training provided.

About the Role
The physician will provide comprehensive evaluation and ongoing management of patients with a variety of medical and vascular-related conditions. Responsibilities may include:
- Conducting new-patient consultations and comprehensive medical evaluations
- Reviewing medical histories, physical examinations, and diagnostic studies
- Developing individualized treatment plans
- Managing patients longitudinally in an outpatient setting
- Evaluating venous, arterial, lymphatic, and related conditions
- Reviewing diagnostic imaging and vascular studies
- Providing patient education regarding diagnoses and treatment options
- Performing procedures within the physician’s training and scope of practice
- Coordinating care with other members of the clinical team
- Maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation
Clinical Focus
The practice provides care for a broad range of conditions, including:
- Venous disease and chronic venous insufficiency
- Varicose veins
- Peripheral arterial disease
- Leg swelling and edema
- Lymphedema and related conditions
- Venous ulcers and wound care
- Deep vein thrombosis
- Other vascular and musculoskeletal conditions
Preferred Experience
Vascular experience is preferred but not required. The practice will consider physicians with a broad range of Internal Medicine backgrounds.
Experience in any of the following is a plus:
- Vascular or vein medicine
- Venous or arterial disease
- Wound care
- Lymphatic disease
- Ultrasound or diagnostic imaging
- Procedural medicine
- Endovascular care
- Outpatient specialty care
Qualifications
- MD or DO
- Board eligible or board certified in Internal Medicine
- Eligible for medical licensure in Texas
- Strong clinical and communication skills
- Comfortable working in an outpatient setting
- Patient-focused approach to care
- Interest in learning and developing additional clinical skills
