Maintenance Technician
Schedule
Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, with some flexibility. Position includes an on-call rotation approximately every 4–5 weeks. Overtime is paid for hours worked over 40, and mileage is reimbursed for emergency/on-call travel.
We are seeking a dependable Facilities Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair agency properties. This position will handle a variety of general maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and building repairs.
Responsibilities
- Perform general facility maintenance, repairs, and work orders.
- Troubleshoot building systems and equipment.
- Assist with renovation and maintenance projects.
- Address safety, code, and inspection requirements.
- Maintain building interiors, exteriors, and mechanical systems.
- Work independently and with other technicians, vendors, and contractors.
- Provide professional service to staff, clients, and visitors.
Requirements
- High school diploma/GED with relevant maintenance experience, or equivalent education/experience.
- Strong communication and basic computer skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and travel between agency locations
