Warehouse Technician
Temp to Hire
Pay:$18/hour
Schedule:
- Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM
- 30-minute lunch
- Occasional overtime and Saturday shifts may be required based on workload.
- Due to a recent ERP system migration, the team may currently require occasional 4-hour Saturday shifts.
Position Overview
The Warehouse Technician is responsible for accurately picking, packing, receiving, storing, and shipping equipment and supplies. This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to safety and accuracy.
Responsibilities
- Pick, package, and prepare equipment and supplies according to customer orders.
- Perform order fulfillment, quality checks, and shipping/receiving duties.
- Receive, document, and properly store incoming freight and deliveries.
- Stock shelves and maintain accurate, organized inventory.
- Safely use warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks, forklifts, and ladders.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse.
- Assist with process improvement initiatives.
- Follow company safety procedures and training requirements.
- Maintain confidentiality of employee and patient information in accordance with company policy and HIPAA regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Basic computer and math skills.
- Ability to accurately follow written and verbal instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to safely lift, carry, and move equipment and supplies.
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ year of warehouse or related experience.
- Experience with Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Experience with WMS/ERP systems.
- Familiarity with UPS WorldShip, USPS, and FedEx shipping processes.
- Forklift or pallet jack experience.
