Accounts Receivable Clerk
Location:
Fort Myers, FL
Hours:
- Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm
Position Duties:
- Process customer payments, invoices, and billing statements.
- Maintain accurate customer accounts and records.
- Monitor past-due accounts and assist with collections.
- Research and resolve account discrepancies and outstanding balances.
- Prepare accounts receivable reports and assist with monthly reconciliations.
- Support the Senior Accountant with month-end accounting activities.
- Maintain organized files and perform other duties as assigned
Position Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Accounting degree preferred.
- 2+ years of related accounting or accounts receivable experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software; Great Plains and WideOrbit a plus.
- Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Pay Rate:
- $20-23/hour depending on experience
