The Practice Technology Analyst supports the Senior Solutions Development Manager and Wealth Management Technology Director in delivering strategic and operational technology solutions tailored to the Firm’s Wealth Management Group. This role serves as a key liaison between the Wealth Management Technology team and the Firm’s Information Technology department, helping to align business needs, technology priorities, and support initiatives. The Analyst partners closely with attorneys, fiduciary professionals, tax specialists, business support teams, and IT stakeholders to enhance client service delivery, streamline workflows, and improve the management of sensitive client and financial data. The Analyst will help drive the adoption of innovative technologies that support estate planning, trust administration, probate administration, tax compliance, and high-net-worth client service.
Job Functions:
- Develop a strong understanding of Wealth Management legal workflows, including estate planning, trust administration, probate administration, tax preparation, and fiduciary services.
- Serve as a subject matter resource for technology solutions supporting the Wealth Management practice, including document management, client data management, AI adoption and workflow tools.
- Serve as a primary liaison between the Wealth Management Technology team and the Firm’s Information Technology department, coordinating technology initiatives, communicating business requirements, escalating issues, and helping ensure alignment of practice-specific and firmwide technology strategies.
- Act as an expert on the end-user experience for firmwide and Wealth Management-specific applications.
- Collaborate with attorneys and staff to identify opportunities to improve efficiency, identify technology requirements and enhance client service.
- Champion user adoption, engagement, and best practices across iManage and other key Wealth Management and Firmwide technology applications, including AI, workflow, and productivity tools.
- Champion user adoption, engagement and best practices related to the document management system.
- Provide day-to-day troubleshooting, support of and training on the document management system.
- Support CoPilot, DeepJudge and Claude use cases.
- Promote responsible and effective AI adoption in line with firm guidelines.
- Monitor and communicate software updates and regulatory-related technology changes.
- Conduct trainings and workshops for attorneys and staff.
- Participate in change management initiatives and system rollouts.
- Develop and document testing procedures for system upgrades.
- Collaborate with IT, Security, and Risk teams to ensure compliance with data privacy standards.
- Work with vendors to troubleshoot issues and improve performance.
- Track adoption and effectiveness of technology solutions.

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 7 years of law firm experience, preferably in Wealth Management or Private Client practice groups.
- Experience in legal technology, knowledge management, or practice support.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and the iManage document management system
- Experience with document automation platforms (e.g., Contract Express, HotDocs) and AI-driven tools (e.g., Claude) to streamline document creation and workflows.
- Familiarity with workflow platforms
- Advanced Excel and data management skills.
- Familiarity with Generative AI applications in legal services.
- Familiarity with Practifi CRM
- Ability to manage multiple projects under time-sensitive conditions.
