Shift: 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM–7:00 AM)
Compensation: $35–$50/hour based on experience
Shift Differentials:
- Weeknights: +$3.50/hour
- Weekends: +$5.00/hour
Retention Bonus: Up to $8,000 (paid in installments over 24 months)

A healthcare organization is seeking compassionate Registered Nurses to join a specialized inpatient behavioral health program focused on caring for older adults. This is an excellent opportunity for an RN who is passionate about providing patient-centered care and supporting individuals experiencing mental health challenges in a supportive, collaborative environment.
The Geriatric Behavioral Health RN will provide nursing care for adult patients ages 65+ in a short-stay inpatient setting. This role focuses on comprehensive assessment, care planning, medication management, patient education, and collaboration with an interdisciplinary team to support each patient’s mental health and overall well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide safe, compassionate nursing care to geriatric behavioral health patients
- Complete patient assessments and identify changes in condition requiring intervention
- Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team
- Administer medications and evaluate patient response
- Prioritize care for patients with complex medical and behavioral health needs
- Collaborate with providers, therapists, and multidisciplinary team members
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and ongoing care
- Delegate appropriately and support nursing team collaboration
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with clinical standards
- Participate in ongoing education, quality improvement initiatives, and professional development
Qualifications:
- Active Registered Nurse license
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Strong assessment, communication, and critical-thinking skills
- Experience in behavioral health, geriatrics, med/surg, or a related nursing specialty preferred
Required Certifications:
- BLS
