Emergency Department Registered Nurse (ED RN)
Shift: 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM–7:00 AM)
Compensation: $35–$50/hour based on experience
Shift Differentials:
- Weeknights: +$3.50/hour
- Weekends: +$5.00/hour
Retention Bonus: Up to $10,000 (paid in installments)

A healthcare organization is seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse to join their emergency care team. The ED RN will provide comprehensive emergency nursing care, supporting patients across the lifespan while collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to assess, stabilize, and manage urgent medical needs. This role offers the opportunity to work in a team-oriented environment focused on patient safety, clinical excellence, and compassionate care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide emergency nursing care within the RN scope of practice
- Assess patient conditions and identify changes requiring intervention
- Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs
- Prioritize care for patients with varying levels of acuity
- Administer medications and treatments safely while evaluating patient response
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members during emergent situations
- Support stabilization and resuscitation efforts for critically ill or injured patients
- Educate patients and families regarding care, treatment, and discharge instructions
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with department policies and procedures
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ongoing professional development
Qualifications:
- Active Registered Nurse license
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Previous Emergency Department experience preferred
- Strong assessment, critical-thinking, and communication skills
Required Certifications:
- BLS
- ACLS
- PALS
Preferred:
- TNCC certification (or willingness to obtain within 1 year)
