Senior Financial Analyst (FP&A) – $115-125K + bonus

About the Role We are seeking an analytical and strategic Senior Financial Analyst to join a growing, fast-paced finance team. In this high-impact role, you will serve as a key business partner to internal leadership, driving financial planning, forecasting, and operational insights for core functional areas. If you thrive in an environment where you can translate complex datasets into actionable business recommendations and enjoy collaborating across departments, this is an ideal opportunity for you.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Strategic Business Partnership: Act as the primary finance lead for departmental leaders (Operations, IT, HR, and more), supporting day-to-day decision-making and resource allocation.

  • Forecasting & Planning: Own the forecasting process for assigned cost centers, playing a central role in annual planning and quarterly updates.

  • Performance Analysis: Lead monthly variance analysis against budgets and historical data to identify key business drivers, risks, and performance trends.

  • Executive Reporting: Contribute directly to monthly executive and board-level reporting, developing clear, high-impact presentations and commentary that translate numbers into a story.

  • Modeling & Data Integrity: Build, maintain, and enhance sophisticated financial models and dashboards. You will work with complex data sets across systems (Salesforce, BI tools, and financial planning platforms) to ensure accuracy and consistency.

  • Process Improvement: Support broader FP&A initiatives and contribute to continuous improvement projects to streamline reporting workflows.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience: 4–7 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or related functions.

  • Financial Acumen: A strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, financial statements, and core finance principles.

  • Technical Expertise: Advanced Excel modeling skills and prior hands-on experience with financial planning/reporting tools (e.g., Adaptive Planning, Salesforce, Power BI).

  • Communication: Ability to distill complex financial findings into clear, concise insights for both financial and non-financial stakeholders.

  • Analytical Mindset: Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to pivot quickly in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or CPA a plus.

Why This Role?

  • Impact: You will not just be reporting the numbers; you will be helping leaders understand them to drive business success.

  • Visibility: Partner directly with senior leadership and contribute to high-level strategic planning.

  • Growth: A collaborative, matrixed environment that values initiative and cross-functional problem-solving.
