Hours:

  • Monday – Friday 8:00a – 4:30p
    • Rotate 8:30a – 5:00p schedule

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting patients and caretakers by helping them navigate Center resources and providing hands-on assistance during clinical visits.
  • Managing patient records, charting, and insurance correspondence through EPIC, which includes returning incomplete forms to providers for resolution.
  • Preparing examination rooms and patients for procedures, ensuring all necessary medical equipment, instruments, and information are readily available.
  • Documenting patient vital signs—such as blood pressure, pulse, respiration, temperature, and O2 saturation—with accurate, signed, and legible entries.
  • Assisting providers and nursing staff with specialized treatment procedures while offering continuous support to patients.
  • Performing clinical tasks and diagnostic screenings, including drawing blood (phlebotomy), running EKGs, conducting vision/hearing tests, and processing CLIA-waived tests.
  • Maintaining clinical inventory by tracking purchased equipment, monitoring medical supplies, and ensuring all instruments are properly sanitized or autoclaved.
  • Adapting to operational needs by attending mandatory staff meetings, completing required training courses, and floating to other departments or sites as requested.

Qualifications:

  • Medical assisting experience (1-2 years)
  • Epic experience preferred
  • Medical Assistant Certification or Diploma
  • CPR Certification

Compensation:

  • $20-25/hr
