Facilities Maintenance Technician
Summary
Facilities and fleet support role responsible for maintaining company vehicles and assisting with general building upkeep across multiple sites. This is a hands-on position focused on repairs, vendor coordination, and keeping operations running smoothly.
Location: Fort Myers, FL
Hours: M-F 8am-5pm
Pay Rate: $18-19/hour
Job Responsibilities
- Maintain and clean fleet vehicles
- Coordinate vehicle maintenance and transport to vendors
- Perform basic facility repairs and general upkeep (lights, minor fixes, touch-ups)
- Manage work orders via ticketing system and resolve facility issues
- Coordinate external contractors (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, etc.)
- Proactively identify and address maintenance/facility needs
- Support groundskeeping and multi-site property upkeep
- Travel between locations as needed
Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Facilities, maintenance, or handyman experience preferred
- Basic tool use and general repair knowledge required
- Clean driving record; ability to operate company vehicles
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical work
- Self-starter with strong initiative and communication skills
- Basic HVAC/plumbing/electrical knowledge preferred
