Location: Littleton, MA
Pay: $66,500 + 7% bonus
Reports To: HR Manager / VP, Human Resources

Position Overview
The HR Generalist / Recruiter supports day-to-day human resources and talent acquisition operations at our Littleton facility. This role drives full-cycle recruitment—especially high-volume seasonal hiring—while delivering core HR support across onboarding, employee relations, benefits communication, leave coordination, and workers’ compensation tracking. As a primary point of contact for frontline employees and site leadership, this individual must be fully bilingual in English and Spanish to ensure clear, equitable, and effective communication across our diverse workforce.

Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition & Staffing

  • Lead full-cycle recruitment for warehouse, operations, and seasonal staffing, including job postings, resume screening, phone screens, onsite interviews, and offer processing.
  • Partner with local community organizations, staffing agencies, job fairs, and hiring platforms to build a steady pipeline of candidates for peak operational seasons.
  • Facilitate engaging, bilingual new-hire orientation sessions and ensure complete, compliant I-9 and pre-employment onboarding documentation.

Employee Relations & Frontline Support

  • Serve as an accessible, bilingual liaison for staff inquiries regarding workplace policies, schedules, compensation, and general concerns.
  • Assist site leadership in handling initial employee relations matters; conduct preliminary fact-finding inquiries and partner with HR leadership to resolve issues constructively.
  • Help translate critical company communications, training materials, policies, and safety notices between English and Spanish.

Benefits, Leaves & Workers’ Compensation Coordination

  • Guide employees through site open enrollment, life-event changes, and 401(k) inquiries, partnering closely with Corporate Benefits and Payroll.
  • Coordinate documentation for leaves of absence (FMLA, personal, medical) in collaboration with benefits administrators.
  • Support the administration of workers’ compensation claims from initial incident intake to tracking Return-to-Work/light-duty transitions alongside site managers.
  • Assist with state unemployment documentation and hearing preparation as needed.

HR Operations & Safety Compliance

  • Maintain accurate employee records and assist with site HR software and systems (e.g., time tracking/punch systems, pre-employment screening portals).
  • Participate actively as a member of the Littleton Safety Committee, promoting workplace safety initiatives and hazard reporting.
  • Ensure site adherence to relevant federal and state employment laws under the guidance of HR leadership.

Requirements

  • Experience:  0–3 years of progressive Human Resources experience with demonstrated experience handling high-volume or seasonal recruiting.
  • Language: Fully bilingual in English and Spanish with strong verbal and written communication skills in both languages.
  • Industry Background: Experience in a high-volume, fast-paced distribution, manufacturing, warehousing, or retail environment strongly preferred.
  • Education & Credentials: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related discipline, or equivalent professional experience. HR certifications (aPHR, PHR, or SHRM-CP) are a plus.
  • Core Competencies:
    • Solid working knowledge of fundamental employment practices, wage and hour guidelines, and safety standards.
    • Strong organization and multitasking abilities to seamlessly shift between active hiring drives and daily employee needs.
    • High emotional intelligence with the ability to maintain strict confidentiality and build rapport across all operational levels.
    • Proficiency with HRIS, applicant tracking systems (ATS), and standard office productivity suites (Microsoft Office / Google Workspace).
