Project Engineer – Manufacturing/NPI
Location: East Bay, Rhode Island – Bristol area

Work Arrangement: Full-time, onsite
Salary Range: $75,000–$95,000 annually
Are you an engineer who enjoys taking new products from concept through production?
We are seeking a hands-on Project Engineer to lead New Product Introduction and manufacturing-improvement projects within a highly regulated manufacturing environment. This position works closely with customers, Production, Quality, and suppliers to improve manufacturability, cost, quality, and production performance.
What You’ll Do
- Manage multiple NPI and manufacturing-engineering projects.
- Lead projects through an established NPI Tollgate process.
- Coordinate schedules, resources, milestones, budgets, and deliverables.
- Improve manufacturing productivity, quality, efficiency, and cost.
- Work with customers to ensure designs are manufacturable and cost-effective.
- Design manufacturing processes, fixtures, components, and tooling.
- Support Production through root-cause investigations and corrective actions.
- Partner with Quality to ensure compliance with drawings and specifications.
- Support ISO 9001 and AS9100 requirements.
- Apply Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methods to process improvements.
What We’re Looking For
- Associate’s degree in Engineering or a related discipline required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Manufacturing experience involving injection molding, CNC machining, composites, assembly, or bonding.
- Experience supporting NPI, product-development, or manufacturing-engineering projects.
- Ability to read engineering drawings; GD&T experience preferred.
- CAD or mechanical-design experience; SolidWorks preferred.
- Strong project-management, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with Cimatron, Moldflow, Lean Manufacturing, or Six Sigma is a plus.
