Dental Practice Assistant

Hours:
- Monday – Friday 8:30a – 5:30p
Responsibilities:
- Maintain, generate, and adjust provider schedules and templates to optimize patient access and workflow
- Greet visitors, manage patient registration, accurately verify various types of insurance, and complete prior authorizations and approvals
- Collect co-pays and outstanding patient balances at the time of service while demonstrating knowledge of payment policies
- ode encounter forms using ICD-10 guidelines, enter diagnoses and codes into the computer, and charge all encounters for accurate billing
- Utilize the SDK computer registration system, manage specialized documentation, and perform daily clerical tasks including filing, sorting mail, and retrieving records
- Handle incoming telephone calls, manage departmental correspondence, monitor the waiting room, and make outgoing verification calls
- Advocate for patients, handle highly sensitive and confidential information, and identify needs for translation services to facilitate visits
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Dental administrative experience
- Knowledge of dental billing
Compensation:
- $27-30/hr

You will be entitled to health insurance once employed for 60 days and you must work 30 hours per week, on average, per month to enroll and maintain health insurance through Complete Staffing Solutions.
