Controller / Director of Finance
$150,000-$160,000 Base + 20% Bonus + 20% Long-Term Incentive

Are you a hands-on finance leader with a strong manufacturing background looking to make a significant impact? We’re partnering with a growing manufacturing organization seeking a Controller or Director of Finance to lead all financial operations while serving as a strategic business partner to executive leadership.

Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary: $150,000-$160,000
- Annual Bonus: 20%
- Long-Term Incentive: 20% beginning after Year 1
- Projected Year 2 Earnings: $220,000+
What You’ll Do
- Lead all accounting and finance operations for the organization
- Prepare and present weekly and monthly financial reporting
- Develop budgets, forecasts, and long-range financial plans
- Analyze operating results, profitability, and business performance
- Drive inventory valuation, cost accounting, and manufacturing financial reporting
- Manage cash flow, budgeting, financial planning, and internal controls
- Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, purchasing, and ERP functions
- Partner with operations to improve profitability, efficiency, and EBITDA
- Coordinate annual audits, regulatory compliance, and tax planning
- Lead continuous process improvements and financial system enhancements
- Oversee material management, MRP, and purchasing initiatives
- Manage and optimize the company’s Sage 100 ERP environment
Leadership
You’ll oversee a small, collaborative finance team consisting of:
- Staff Accountant
- Administrative Assistant
- Office Manager
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPA strongly preferred
- 5+ years of leadership experience in a Controller, Director of Finance, or similar role
- Required: Manufacturing finance experience, including inventory and cost accounting
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and operational finance
- ERP experience required (Sage 100 preferred)
- Proven ability to partner cross-functionally with operations and executive leadership
- Strong communication, analytical, and leadership skills
