Temp to Hire
Location:Fort Myers, FL
Pay: $25/hr
Schedule: Monday��Friday | 8:30 AM–5:30 PM | Saturdays 10:00 AM–4:00 PM (Alternate Saturdays depending on Property Manager schedule)
Saturday Schedule:
Candidates may be required to work alternate Saturdays depending on community needs. If a candidate works a Saturday, they will receive the following Monday off.
Responsibilities:
Marketing:
- Assist with marketing programs designed to maintain strong occupancy levels.
- Conduct market surveys to understand competitiveness within the market.
- Track traffic, leasing activity, and marketing programs.
- Assist with distribution of marketing materials and outreach efforts.
- Help develop new marketing contacts and community partnerships.
- Follow Fair Housing guidelines and all company policies.
Leasing:
- Lease vacant apartment homes and assist with pre-leasing units that are on notice to vacate.
- Provide excellent customer service to prospective residents and current residents.
- Conduct apartment tours and effectively communicate community features and amenities.
- Follow up with leads through phone calls, emails, and other communication methods.
- Prepare lease agreements and move-in paperwork for Property Manager review and approval.
- Ensure applications are processed according to company procedures.
- Maintain accurate leasing activity records.
- Follow established phone and walk-in procedures.
- Assist with resident renewals and recertification processes.
- Ensure apartments are ready for resident move-ins.
- Complete outreach activities as directed by the Property Manager.
- Participate in resident events and community functions.
- Properly complete and report service requests.
- Maintain a professional and welcoming attitude with residents, prospects, coworkers, and the public.
Resident Relations:
- Build positive relationships with current residents.
- Respond to resident questions and concerns professionally and promptly.
- Support resident retention efforts.
- Provide a high level of customer service while maintaining community standards.
- Communicate effectively with the Property Manager and onsite team.
- Property Operations Support:
- Work closely with the Property Manager to support daily community operations.
- Assist with administrative tasks, reporting, and office organization.
- Report any property damage, safety concerns, or incidents to management.
- Assist with maintaining accurate resident and property records.
- Complete additional duties assigned by the Property Manager.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum of 1+ year of leasing consultant or multifamily experience preferred.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Professional presentation and positive attitude.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable transportation required.
- Comfortable utilizing computer systems and property management software.
- Ability to follow Fair Housing regulations and company procedures.
- Ability to work Monday–Friday with alternate Saturday availability.
- Affordable housing, HUD, or compliance experience is a plus.
- Experience with resident relations and property operations.
- Interest in growing into an Assistant Property Manager position.
Education Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Additional education in Business, Property Management, or a related field is a plus.
- CAM certification or property management coursework preferred but not required.
