Foster Care Supervisor
Location: Malden, MA home base with frequent travel within the Boston area 
Salary: $30-33 /hr
Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
On-Call: Participates in a shared, phone-based emergency rotation
Travel: Frequent regional travel required; mileage is reimbursed


Overview:
Seeking a Foster Care Supervisor to oversee case management services and provide leadership to a team of Case Managers and foster families. This role combines supervision, program coordination, compliance oversight, and ongoing collaboration with external partners.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise Case Managers and oversee all client services

  • Ensure timely, accurate documentation (intakes, treatment plans, monthly reports)

  • Monitor caseloads, census, and service utilization

  • Lead team meetings and contribute to program development

  • Train and support foster parents

  • Assist with policy and reporting improvements

  • Maintain required certifications (CPR, First Aid, etc.)

  • Participate in on-call rotation (third point of contact)

  • Attend DCF reviews and liaise with external stakeholders


Qualifications:
Required:

  • Master’s degree in Social Work or a related field

  • Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience (non-negotiable)

  • Minimum 3 years of clinical experience

  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

  • Ability to obtain LSWA within 6 months of hire

Preferred:

  • Experience with at-risk youth and families

  • Familiarity with mental health, child welfare, and human development
