Maintenance Technician
Woonsocket, RI
Hours:

  • Monday – Friday: 8:00a – 4:00p

Responsibilities:

  • Performing general and preventative maintenance, carpentry, minor electrical, basic HVAC, painting, and minor concrete work on the facility, grounds, and equipment
  • Reviewing work orders based on priority, keeping the Facility Manager informed of issues, and coordinating routine maintenance for company vehicles
  • Responding to hazards and emergencies, clearing snow/debris, and following manufacturer specifications and organizational policies to ensure a safe environment
  • Assist with moving furniture, handling groundskeeping, and completing other physical tasks both independently and without direct supervision
  • Actively modeling the organization’s core values, treating all residents, staff, and guests with respect and dignity
  • Attending required meetings, handling “on-call” or overtime shifts as needed, and completing other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Vocational or trade school graduate
  • Standard driver’s license with acceptable driving history: Class C or D
  • Building maintenance experience
  • Maintenance skills: carpentry, plumbing, painting, and electricity
  • Knowledge of safety and building codes

Compensation:

  • $22-25/hr

You will be entitled to health insurance once employed for 60 days and you must work 30 hours per week, on average, per month to enroll and maintain health insurance through Complete Staffing Solutions.
