Quality Control Analyst I
Location:
Cambridge, MA
Hours:
- Monday – Friday 8:30am – 5pm; upon conversion to permanent, one weekend day and 1–2 holidays per year
Position Duties:
- Perform routine QC testing of raw materials, in-process, drug product, and stability samples following SOPs and cGMP guidelines
- Conduct microbial, molecular, and environmental monitoring assays, including microbial limits and bioburden testing
- Lab
- Support lab operations: equipment calibration, glassware/autoclaving, housekeeping, and audit preparation
- Review QC data, report out-of-specification results, and summarize findings for management
- Participate in method transfers, maintain departmental systems, and communicate inter-departmentally to resolve technical issues
- Follow safe work practices, initiate deviations/investigations, and author/review QC documentation as needed
Position Requirements:
- HS Diploma with 4+ years cGMP lab experience, or AS/BS in microbiology, molecular biology, biochemistry, or related field with relevant industry experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and lab data management systems (LIMS)
- Experience with microbiological testing, environmental monitoring, or regulated biotech/pharma environments
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs., gown into ISO 7 cleanroom, and provide weekend/holiday coverage as required
- Commitment to safety, ethics, and adherence to cGMP and company policies
Pay Rate:
- Up to $40/Hour
