Customer Service Representative

Location: Hybrid Schedule (Work from Home Wednesdays & Fridays)
Pay: $25/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM

About the Role

We are seeking a customer-focused Product Support Technician to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with strong customer service skills, a mechanical aptitude, and the ability to learn technical products quickly. You will provide support primarily to dental offices, helping troubleshoot equipment issues and answering product-related questions.

This position is approximately 75% phone support and 25% email correspondence, handling an average of 10–20 customer interactions per day. Comprehensive training on all products will be provided.

Responsibilities

  • Provide product support and troubleshooting assistance via phone, email, and online chat
  • Assist customers with equipment-related questions and basic technical issues
  • Conduct product demonstrations and answer questions regarding product features and benefits
  • Document customer interactions, troubleshooting steps, and follow-up activities
  • Process and evaluate product warranty claims
  • Identify recurring issues and communicate trends and potential solutions
  • Support customer and staff training initiatives
  • Perform general customer service and administrative duties
  • Participate in special projects and other assigned tasks

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of customer service, technical support, or related experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
  • Comfortable speaking with customers over the phone throughout the day
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to learn technical products quickly and explain solutions to both technical and non-technical users

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a dental office or supporting dental equipment
  • Experience in medical device, healthcare, or technical customer support environments
  • General mechanical aptitude or troubleshooting experience
