Manufacturing Process Technician
Location: Westborough, MA
Schedule: M-F 8am-4:30pm
Job Description:
- Support engineers in designing, scaling, and improving manufacturing processes and production layouts
- Assist in process scale-up and transfer of chemical products into production
- Conduct testing, collect data, and troubleshoot equipment and process issues
- Apply SPC/DOE/FMEA methods to support process improvement and problem-solving
- Evaluate equipment and process changes to improve cycle time and reliability
- Document results and provide written updates on projects and investigations
Job Requirements:
- 5+ years manufacturing, process support, or scale-up experience
- Experience working with engineering teams in production or manufacturing environments
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills using data-driven methods
- Working knowledge of SPC, DOE, and structured problem-solving (e.g., FMEA)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word/Excel and ability to learn new systems
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical reporting
Pay Rate:
- $30-35/ hour depending on experience
