1st Shift CNC Lathe Machinist – Milling Department
Bethel, CT | Full-Time | $25/hour + DOE
A growing precision manufacturing company in the Bethel area is seeking a CNC Lathe Machinist to support its Milling Department. This is a hands-on production role for a candidate who can set up, operate, and maintain quality on CNC lathe equipment while working to print.
Responsibilities

Set up and operate CNC lathe machines to produce precision components

Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and manufacturing drawings

Perform in-process inspections using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools

Make tool offsets and minor adjustments to maintain tolerances

Deburr, inspect, and prepare finished parts for the next operation

Meet daily production goals while maintaining a clean and organized work area

Communicate quality or production issues to supervision
Requirements

Prior CNC lathe operation experience required

Ability to hold tight tolerances in a production environment

Strong blueprint-reading and measurement skills

Experience with CNC milling is a plus

Mastercam experience is a plus

Dependable, quality-focused, and able to work independently
Compensation

$25.00 per hour, plus additional compensation based on experience
