Maintenance Technician
Location: Naples, FL 34102
Pay: $24.00–$28.00/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday , rotating day off on weekends, on-call required
Responsibilities:
- Maintenance Operations: must be able to work independently with little supervision
- Complete plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, carpentry, appliance repair, and general maintenance repairs.
- Inspect buildings and community areas to identify maintenance concerns before they become major repairs.
- Maintain the appearance of the property, including common areas and exterior grounds.
- Resident Service: Communicate professionally with residents regarding repairs and work order completion.
- Administrative / Operational Support: Assist with preventative maintenance schedules and property inspections.
- Communicate maintenance priorities with management.
- Follow OSHA safety standards and company maintenance procedures.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of multifamily apartment maintenance experience required.
- Previous apartment or condominium maintenance experience required.
- Experience servicing wall/window AC units required.
- Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, carpentry, appliance repair, and general maintenance.
- Must be comfortable working as the sole maintenance technician on site.
- Must provide basic hand tools.
- Comfortable working outdoors in Florida weather.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Multifamily apartment maintenance experience strongly preferred.
- HVAC certification is a plus but not required.
- EPA certification is a plus.
- Irrigation system experience preferred.
- Experience with preventative maintenance programs.
- Painting, flooring, and general construction experience is a plus.
Education Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Trade school or vocational training in maintenance or a related field is a plus.
- HVAC, EPA, or other maintenance certifications preferred but not required.
