A well-established construction company is seeking an organized and highly dependable Assistant to support its President and leadership team. Job Description
The Senior Administrative Assistant will manage the President’s daily administrative needs, allowing leadership to focus on the company’s strategy and continued growth. This role will coordinate communications, schedules, meetings, travel, projects, and other confidential matters.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a liaison between the President, executives, employees, clients, and external partners.
- Manage the President’s calendar, appointments, priorities, and daily agenda.
- Coordinate meetings, reminders, catering, and company events.
- Prepare meeting minutes and distribute follow-up information.
- Screen calls and manage incoming and outgoing correspondence.
- Prepare memos, emails, presentations, reports, and PowerPoint slide decks.
- Organize confidential electronic and physical files.
- Prepare bid and proposal packages.
- Create marketing materials and coordinate with outside vendors.
- Assist Human Resources with company social media initiatives.
- Coordinate travel arrangements and prepare detailed itineraries.
- Exercise judgment when resolving matters that do not require escalation.
- Provide backup support for payroll and assist with bank deposits when needed.
- Support additional executives and company owners as requested.
- Handle occasional confidential business and personal administrative matters.
- Perform general administrative duties and special projects as assigned.
Experience and Education
- Previous professional office experience required.
- One to two years of executive-support experience preferred.
- Construction-industry experience preferred.
- Social media or marketing experience is a plus.
