Maintenance Technician
Pay Rate: $20–$22/hour
Hours: M-F 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (1-hour lunch)
Location: Fort Myers, FL
On-Call: Required, including weekend rotation
Job Description
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs throughout a residential property.
- Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, and general maintenance issues.
- Respond to resident service requests and complete work orders in a timely manner.
- Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and general property upkeep.
- Maintain apartments, common areas, and grounds.
- Provide professional customer service to residents.
- Work as part of a small two-person maintenance team.
- Assist with emergency and after-hours maintenance as needed.
- Requirements
- 1–3 years of maintenance experience preferred; greener candidates welcome.
- HVAC & plumbing experience preferred.
- General maintenance/repair or trade experience a plus.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently or on a small team.
- Reliable, self-motivated, and customer-service oriented.
- Able to safely use tools and perform physical maintenance work.
- Multifamily/residential experience preferred.
