Warehouse Technician
Worcester, MA | $18–$25/hr | Monday–Friday, 7:00am–3:00pm (some weekends)
We’re looking for a dependable Warehouse Technician to support shipping, receiving, and inventory in a Shipping & Receiving department.
What you’ll do:
- Receive and verify incoming shipments against paperwork
- Load/unload trucks using material-handling equipment
- Move, stage, and store raw materials and finished goods
- Process domestic and international shipping/receiving transactions
- Prepare shipping documentation and enter transactions into company systems
- Read and interpret purchase orders, work orders, and shipping documents
- Perform cycle counts and assist with physical inventories
- Research and report inventory discrepancies
- Operate forklifts and other equipment
- Coordinate with Purchasing, Customer Service, and Production on issues
- Help train new warehouse employees
- Keep the warehouse organized, clean, and safe
What you need:
- 1–3 years of warehouse, shipping/receiving, or inventory experience preferred
- Forklift experience preferred; must complete company forklift certification
- Comfortable with basic computer systems; ERP/WMS experience a plus
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
- Reliable, dependable, and a good team player
- Solid attendance record
- Able to stand up to 8 hours/shift and lift up to 30 lbs occasionally
Work environment: Manufacturing floor with required PPE (safety glasses, additional PPE as needed). Some exposure to heat, cold, and elevated equipment surfaces — standard for a production warehouse setting.
