Maintenance Technician
Location: Enfield, CT
Pay: $24/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Property: 75-unit apartment community
Position Summary
Seeking a Maintenance Technician to support the daily maintenance and upkeep of a 75-unit apartment community. The position will focus on apartment turnovers, work orders, repairs, and general property cleaning and upkeep.
Responsibilities
- Complete apartment turnovers and prepare vacant units for move-in.
- Respond to and complete resident maintenance requests and work orders.
- Diagnose and perform basic repairs involving:
- Plumbing
- Electrical
- HVAC
- Appliances
- Carpentry
- Painting
- Hardware
- Masonry
- Maintain grounds, curb appeal, landscaping, and trash areas.
- Complete work orders in a timely and professional manner.
- Provide excellent customer service to residents.
- Participate in scheduled on-call/emergency maintenance as needed.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of relevant maintenance experience
- General knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, and/or carpentry.
- Basic computer/tablet skills.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to speak and understand basic English.
- Reliable, professional, and able to work independently.
