Maintenance Technician
Location:
Fort Myers, FL
Hours:
- M-F – 8am-5pm
Requirements:
- 1–3 years of maintenance experience preferred.
- Candidates with less experience are encouraged to apply. Strong hands-on skills, positive attitude, a willingness to learn, and a desire to grow and develop within a maintenance role are highly valued.
- Experience with general maintenance, repairs, or trade work is a plus.
- Strong hands-on experience with HVAC and plumbing preferred.
- Ability to troubleshoot and complete general repairs.
- Must be a self-starter with a strong work ethic and a “go-getter” mentality.
- Comfortable working in a small team environment where everyone contributes.
- Strong communication skills and a professional attitude.
- Dependable, reliable, and willing to take ownership of responsibilities.
- Ability to handle physical maintenance tasks and safely use tools and equipment.
- On-call availability required.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs throughout Cypress West Apartments.
- Troubleshoot and complete repairs involving HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, and general property maintenance.
- Respond quickly and professionally to resident service requests.
- Assist with preventative maintenance, inspections, and property upkeep.
- Maintain apartments, common areas, and grounds to ensure the community remains safe and well-maintained.
- Support emergency maintenance needs and after-hours calls as needed
- Provide excellent customer service while interacting with residents.
- Take ownership of work orders and ensure issues are resolved efficiently.
- Help create a positive living experience by maintaining a safe and comfortable community.
- Work closely with the property management team to keep daily operations running smoothly.
- Maintain organized tools, equipment, and maintenance areas.
- Follow all safety procedures and company standards.
Pay Rate:
$20-22 Depending on experience

You will be entitled to health insurance once employed for 60 days and you must work 30 hours per week, on average, per month to enroll and maintain health insurance through Complete Staffing Solutions.
