Home health agency seeking night shift nurse (full or part time options)
Type: contract to hire
Schedule: Monday thru Friday, 10pm-6am
Can be 5-6 days a week Full Time or Part Time:
Part Time Options:
- Option 1: Wednesday/Thursday/Friday 10PM-6AM
- Option 2: Friday/Saturday/Sunday 10PM-6AM
- Option 3: Friday and Sunday 10PM-6AM
No Mileage, Candidate will be working at the same patient’s house and will go there from their own home rather than traveling around
We are seeking a dedicated Overnight Nurse to join our team at Community Home Health Care, providing compassionate and high-quality care to patient during the overnight hours. The ideal candidate will work the shift from 10pm to 6am in the southwest area of Fort Wayne, IN, ensuring the comfort and safety of our client throughout the night.
Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care to patients in their homes during the overnight shift.
- Monitor patient health and communicate any changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare team members.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and observations.
- Assist with patient hygiene, mobility, and comfort as needed.
- Respond promptly to patient emergencies and provide appropriate interventions.
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN/LPN) license in the state of Indiana.
- Experience in home health nursing or overnight care preferred.
- ICU or G-tube and Trach Vent Required
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Reliable transportation to travel to patient’s home in the southwest Fort Wayne area.
- Ability to work independently during overnight hours (10pm-6am).
