Material Handler

Pay $20/hr
Schedule: Monday-Friday 2:45pm-11:15pm
Requirements:
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to train, mentor, and support team members in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
- Previous experience in material handling, inventory control, shipping/receiving, or related warehouse operations
- Forklift experience preferred
Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day guidance and support to junior material handling personnel while performing all standard material handling duties.
- Coordinate and oversee shipping, receiving, and movement of materials throughout the facility.
- Manage material storage activities and ensure accurate issuance, receipt, and handling of inventory and supplies.
- Verify shipping and inventory documentation for accuracy and completeness.
- Train and mentor less experienced material handlers on processes, procedures, and best practices.
- Work closely with engineering, production planning, and manufacturing teams to support operational requirements.
- Operate company vehicles as needed to transport materials between warehouse and manufacturing locations.
- Receive and process incoming shipments, including truck and container deliveries.
- Maintain expert knowledge of material staging, inventory placement, order fulfillment, and shipment preparation.
- Promote adherence to safety, quality, and inventory control procedures.
