Maintenance Technician
Location: Bradenton, FL
Pay: $26/hr
Schedule: Monday–Friday | Weekend/holiday on-call rotation
Position Overview
Seeking an experienced Apartment Maintenance Technician for an older community. This is a one-person maintenance team, so the ideal candidate must be highly hands-on, dependable, and able to work independently. Strong plumbing and HVAC skills are highly important.
Responsibilities
- Handle resident work orders, apartment turns, make-readies, and punch work.
- Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, HVAC, electrical, drywall, carpentry, appliances, and general maintenance.
- Perform preventative maintenance, property inspections, and improvement projects.
- Maintain grounds, work areas, and maintenance inventory.
- Provide professional resident service and communicate with Property Management.
- Participate in weekend/holiday emergency on-call rotation.
- Follow OSHA and company safety standards.
Requirements
- 3–5+ years of apartment maintenance experience required.
- Strong plumbing and HVAC experience.
- General maintenance skills across multiple trades.
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and insurance.
- Ability to perform physically demanding work.
- Self-motivated, dependable, and comfortable working independently.
Preferred

- EPA Certification
- CPO Certification
