Position: Principal Software Engineer/Architect
Location- Hartford, CT- NYC- Charlotte or Remote
Salary-$160,000
Primary Responsibilities
- Define and own cloud and AI architecture
- Lead Azure platform engineering and migrations
- Architect AI/ML and generative AI solutions
- Drive enterprise data platform on Microsoft Fabric and Azure
- Lead delivery across multiple programs
- Ensure security, compliance, and governance
- Partner with business stakeholders
- Mentor engineering teams
Qualifications
Required:
- 10+ years software engineering experience
- 5+ years architect experience
- Deep Azure expertise
- AI/ML experience
- Data platform experience
- Strong programming (C#/Python/SQL)
- Preferred
- Insurance or financial services experience
- Azure certifications
- Leadership Competencies
- Strategic thinker with hands-on technical depth
- Strong communication and ownership
