Facilities Manager (Individual Contributor)
Pay: $45-50/hour
We are seeking a hands-on Facilities Manager to oversee the maintenance, safety, and functionality of multiple branch locations. This role travels daily between sites based on operational needs and provides on-call support for emergency situations. A company vehicle and insurance are provided.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform and coordinate general building maintenance, including painting, minor repairs, and routine upkeep
- Oversee all facility operations across branches to ensure safe, functional, and compliant environments
- Monitor building systems (lighting, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, etc.) and perform minor troubleshooting; escalate major issues to contractors
- Manage vendor relationships and coordinate services such as janitorial, landscaping, snow removal, and HVAC
- Inspect facilities and recommend repairs, maintenance, or renovations
- Track all maintenance activities and issues electronically
- Support facility budgets, forecasts, and cost tracking
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, security protocols, and company standards
- Serve as liaison for contractors, landlords, and service providers
- Assist with planning and executing facility improvements and renovations
Qualifications:
- 5–8 years of facilities management or related experience
- Strong general maintenance skills (painting, minor repairs, etc.)
- Experience working with vendors and coordinating facility services
- Ability to work independently, make decisions, and manage multiple locations
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Valid driver’s license required
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
