Maintenance Assistant (Temporary Assignment)
Duration: Temporary 2–3 week assignment (Immediate Need)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Pay Rate: $17–$22/hour
Position Overview
We are seeking a reliable Maintenance Assistant for an immediate temporary assignment supporting a large property management company. This role will focus on basic groundskeeping, property upkeep, and general maintenance support. This is a great opportunity to make a strong impression with a well-established organization.
The Maintenance Assistant will support daily property operations, including cleaning, inspections, work orders, and maintaining a safe and attractive community environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform basic groundskeeping and property maintenance tasks.
- Maintain clean and presentable grounds, breezeways, common areas, and vacant units.
- Remove trash and debris from property areas.
- Assist with unit preparation and make-ready processes.
- Complete basic maintenance requests and repairs under supervisor direction.
- Perform routine property inspections and identify safety hazards or maintenance concerns.
- Support preventative maintenance activities to help maintain property systems and equipment.
- Assist with pool maintenance, including chemical checks and required documentation.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe maintenance shop.
- Properly use and maintain tools, equipment, and supplies.
- Follow OSHA safety guidelines and proper hazard communication procedures.
- Assist with unit inspections and report concerns to the Maintenance Supervisor or Community Manager.
- Provide additional support as assigned.

You will be entitled to health insurance once employed for 60 days and you must work 30 hours per week, on average, per month to enroll and maintain health insurance through Complete Staffing Solutions.
