Hiring for an Echo Tech for a healthcare clinic in Medford, MA
Schedule: Part time – 8:00am-4:00p, Monday’s – temporary role
- 1 day per week as temp, could turn into a permanent full-time position as they are getting a 2nd Echo machine on October 1st.
Pay: $65-$80/hr (based on experience)
Has a Philips EPIQ CVx, it’s about 2 years old.
Averages 7-9 echos per day.
Also do Stress Echos interested.
Job Description:
As an Echo Tech, you will perform echocardiograms using specialized equipment. The Echo Tech ensures accurate imaging and timely results. Collaborate with the Echo Tech team for efficient workflow and patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Perform echocardiograms using specialized ultrasound equipment to assess cardiac function and structure.
- Prepare patients for procedures, explain the process, and ensure patient comfort and safety during examinations.
- Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, troubleshoot issues, and adhere to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret images and provide accurate diagnostic information.
- Document procedure details, maintain patient records, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications:
- RDCS – Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer
- Active BLS
- 2 years of recent Echo Tech experience.
- Strong communication and adaptability skills
