Hiring for a Pediatric LPN for a clinic in Estero/Fort Myers, FL (will float between two locations)
This is strictly a temporary role for about 10-12 weeks.
Will be floating between Estero/Fort Myers based on physician schedules
Pay: $28/hr
Schedule: M-F 7:45AM-4:45PM or 8AM-5PM
Position Overview:
Seeking a dependable and experienced LPN (Clinical Assistant/Floor Nurse) to support the pediatric primary care team. Vaccine administration experience required.
Pediatric experience is a huge plus, and candidates with experience working with children will be strongly considered.
Clinical Patient Care:
- Assess and manage pediatric patients with routine, minor, and acute illnesses.
- Perform patient assessments and collect patient history and vital signs.
- Assist providers with examinations and clinical procedures.
- Administer vaccines, medications, and treatments as directed.
- Provide patient and family education regarding care plans and follow-up instructions.
- Accurately document patient care in accordance with established policies and regulations.
- Utilize clinical protocols and guidelines for patient care decisions.
- Identify patient concerns and communicate appropriately with providers.
Patient Experience:
- Provide compassionate and professional care to pediatric patients and families.
- Create a welcoming and positive experience for children and parents.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, providers, and clinical staff.
- Maintain professionalism and confidentiality at all times.
- Support efficient patient flow during busy clinic hours.
Clinical / Administrative Support:
- Prepare exam rooms and ensure supplies are available.
- Support daily clinic operations and provider needs.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
- Follow HIPAA guidelines, OSHA standards, and office policies.
- Assist with additional clinical tasks as needed.
- Maintain organization and prioritize daily responsibilities.
Job Requirements:
- Active Florida LPN license in good standing required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Medical office or outpatient clinical experience preferred.
- Vaccine administration experience preferred.
- Strong clinical knowledge and patient care skills.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced pediatric office environment.
- Professional, dependable, and team-oriented.
- Comfortable utilizing EMR systems and computer programs. (eClinicalWorks)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Pediatric experience strongly preferred.
- Experience working with children is a major plus.
- More seasoned LPN candidates preferred.
- Experience in primary care, pediatrics, family medicine, or urgent care preferred.
- Experience administering vaccines and supporting well-child visits is preferred.
