Cold Header Operator
Location: Terryville, CT
Pay: $30.00–$40.00/hour, based on experience
Schedule: 8:00AM-5:00PM Monday-Friday
A leading fastening manufacturer and supplier is seeking a reliable Cold Header Operator to support daily production operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work safely while meeting production and quality standards.
Responsibilities

Operate production machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.

Monitor machine performance and make basic adjustments as needed.

Inspect parts and finished products to ensure quality standards are met.

Record production data, downtime, and quality issues accurately.

Assist with changeovers, setup, cleaning, and routine maintenance tasks.

Work closely with supervisors and team members to keep production on schedule.

Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work area.
Requirements

Prior cold header machine operating experience required.

Ability to read work instructions, follow processes, and stay organized.

Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Ability to stand for long periods and lift materials as required.

Willingness to work in a team-based, production-driven environment.
Nice to have

Experience with manufacturing and cold header machinery is required

Experience with machine setup, changeovers, and basic troubleshooting is helpful.
