Hiring for a Medical Assistant in Emporia, VA

Schedule: M-F 8AM-4:30PM
Pay: $20-24/hr (based on experience)

Looking for a CMA to join a busy practice! 

Job Responsibilities:

• Measure Vital Signs
• Greet and Room Patients
• Preparing rooms for patients to be seen
• Taking notes/Keeping records
• EKGs
• Answering phones and screening patients
• Reviewing Medication Records
• Updating patient information EMR (Athena)
• Maintaining supplies and equipment
• Sterilizing Instruments

Qualifications/Requirements: 

• MA Diploma or Certificate. MUST get national MA certiifcate within 90 days. 
• Active BLS/CPR certificate
• EMR (Will Train on  Athena)
