Medical Assistant ($23/hr) – Vero Beach, FL

Contract to potential hire!

Location: Vero Beach, FL 

Schedule: Tuesday-Thursday 7:15am-6pm, Friday 7:15am-5pm

Rate: $20-$23/hr DOE 

Description:

1. Administers injections according to position requirements (i.e., subcutaneous, intramuscular, and intradermal injections).
2. Performs procedures as ordered (i.e., EKGs, nebulizer treatments, pulse oximeter, ear lavages, obtain specimens for laboratory processing).
3. Able to accurately make/cancel/reschedule appointments in the computer appointment system. Able to follow up on appointments to determine patient compliance and contact patients to reschedule (no-show policy)

Requirements:

• High School diploma or GED required, college degree preferred.
• Current CNA ceritifcation with 1 year of clinical experience or Medical Assistant diploma required
