Accounting Clerk
Location:
Lawrence, Ma
Hours:
- Monday – Friday
- 8:30am – 5:30pm
Requirements:
- Associate’s degree in Accounting or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum of 1 year of accounting experience
- Knowledge of bookkeeping and general ledger processes
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail, highly organized, and computer literate
- 1–2 years of experience with an ERP system
Responsibilities:
- Process bills, issue invoices, monitor payments, and maintain accurate vendor and client ledgers.
- Match bank statements, credit card charges, and ledgers to verify data and resolve any payment discrepancies.
- Accurately log financial transactions, expense receipts, and cash deposits into accounting databases.
- Assist in generating periodic financial statements, balance sheets, and budget-to-actual reports.
- File financial documents, organize office mail, and assist the broader accounting or finance team.
Pay Rate:
- $22 – 25 / hour (Depending on Experience)
