Medical Biller
Lancaster, MA
Hours:
- Monday – Friday: 8:30a – 5:00p
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate referrals to specialists and other healthcare providers
- Maintain patient records and update information as necessary
- Assist with medical billing and coding tasks and collections
- Posting medical charges, insurance payments, and claim rejections
- Contacting insurance companies to track the status of claims or appeals
- Correcting claims and submitting appeals with all necessary documentation to insurance companies
- Answering patient billing questions over the phone and resolving any billing discrepancies
- Sending payment receipts and documentation to patients upon request
Qualifications:
- Working knowledge of numbers and claims
- Understanding of medical terminology and procedures
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Experience in a role requiring high numerical accuracy and detail orientation
Compensation:
- $20-23/hr

You will be entitled to health insurance once employed for 60 days and you must work 30 hours per week, on average, per month to enroll and maintain health insurance through Complete Staffing Solutions.
