Corporate Paralegal
Location
- Westborough, MA
Hours:
- Monday – Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm
Position Duties:
- Perform basic litigation functions such as assisting in-house attorneys and outside counsel with collection of documents in response to discovery requests, acting as a liaison between Law Department and business “clients”, and responding to non-party subpoenas.
- Conduct research on regulatory matters as needed.
- Assist attorneys with general corporate matters, including the drafting and review of confidentiality agreements, service agreements, and purchase order terms and conditions.
- Assist with management of legal entities, including filing of annual reports.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and attention to detail required.
- Must be able to work independently.
- Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Westlaw.
Position Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 5 or more years of paralegal experience
- Experience managing litigation, regulatory, minor contractual matters, and general corporate matters (including entity compliance).
- Prior in-house experience, preferably with a retailer.
- Paralegal certificate from an ABA approved program.
Pay Rate:
- $45 – 50/ hour – Depending in Experience
