Hours:

  • Monday – Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm

Position Duties:

  • Perform basic litigation functions such as assisting in-house attorneys and outside counsel with collection of documents in response to discovery requests, acting as a liaison between Law Department and business “clients”, and responding to non-party subpoenas.
  • Conduct research on regulatory matters as needed.
  • Assist attorneys with general corporate matters, including the drafting and review of confidentiality agreements, service agreements, and purchase order terms and conditions.
  • Assist with management of legal entities, including filing of annual reports.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and attention to detail required.
  • Must be able to work independently.
  • Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Westlaw.

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 5 or more years of paralegal experience
  • Experience managing litigation, regulatory, minor contractual matters, and general corporate matters (including entity compliance).
  • Prior in-house experience, preferably with a retailer.
  • Paralegal certificate from an ABA approved program.

Pay Rate:

  • $45 – 50/ hour – Depending in Experience
