Accounting Specialist
Location
- Haverhill, MA
Hours:
- Monday – Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm
Position Duties:
- Enter AP invoices into company accounting software
- Weekly AP vendor payment processing and check runs
- Prepare and review all AR-related billing and daily invoicing (30-75 invoices/day)
- Review AR aging weekly and follow up on past due invoices
- Post payments daily toward outstanding receivable invoices and resolve disputed amounts
- Process and reconcile credit card payments daily
- Research and respond to credit card disputes and chargebacks in a timely manner
- Process weekly and monthly expense reports
Position Requirements:
- Experience in AP or AR required
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365
- Knowledge of NexTrend Cloud Suite Software is preferred
- Ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills with emphasis on attention to detail and follow-up
- Understanding of standard accounting principles
Pay Rate:
- $26 – 28/ hour – Depending in Experience
