Senior Electro-Mechanical Technician
(Leader in specialized radiotherapy technology)

$75-80K Paid Hourly + OVERTIME

The Opportunity
We are looking for a Senior Electro-Mechanical Technician to join a specialized team focused on the assembly and integration of advanced medical instrumentation. This is not a standard assembly role; you will be working on large-scale, high-complexity systems that combine precision mechanics with high-voltage power distribution.
If you have a background in aerospace, semiconductor capital equipment, or medical device manufacturing, your skills will translate perfectly to this environment.

What You’ll Do

  • System Integration: Lead the assembly, installation, and precision alignment of complex electromechanical platforms.
  • Power & Control Systems: Build and test plant switchgear, motor control centers, and high-current/high-voltage power distribution systems.
  • Technical Documentation: Maintain rigorous records within an FDA-compliant/ISO-regulated framework, ensuring all modifications and procedures are accurately captured.
  • Collaborative Support: Work closely with engineering teams on hardware configurations and the testing of signal systems, backplanes, and PLC racks.
  • Mentorship: Serve as a technical resource for junior staff, providing guidance on complex wiring and assembly protocols.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven Experience: 5+ years of hands-on experience with mid-to-high complexity electronic chassis and large-scale system integration.
  • Schematic Fluency: Expert ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and wire run lists.
  • Specialized Environment Skills: Prior experience with cleanroom procedures, vacuum systems, and point-to-point wiring is highly preferred.
  • Technical Toolkit: Mastery of digital multimeters, soldering stations, wire strippers, and crimpers.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: A solid understanding of working within controlled, documented environments (FDA, ISO, or similar).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Technical Diploma or equivalent hands-on military/industrial training.
  • Experience with AC power feeds for high-power DC and RF devices.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced, high-tech manufacturing setting.
