Raw Material Quality Inspector (Biotech)
Location: Greater Boston Area
Schedule: Monday–Friday, flexible start between 7:00 AM – 8:30 AM (40 hours a week+ possible OT on occasion)
About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented Raw Material Quality Inspector to support quality control operations across multiple Massachusetts sites. This position plays a key role in ensuring that all incoming raw materials and consumables meet strict biotech manufacturing and research standards.
Key Responsibilities

Inspect and verify incoming supplies such as media, filters, pipettes, lab garments, and other consumables for compliance with specifications and quality standards.

Perform inspections and monitoring of liquid nitrogen and CO? gas to ensure safety, quality, and proper handling.

Record, track, and maintain inspection data and certificates of analysis in accordance with company procedures and regulatory requirements.

Collaborate with Quality Assurance, Warehouse, and Manufacturing teams to resolve material discrepancies or quality concerns.

Ensure accurate labeling, storage, and release of approved materials.

Support continuous improvement efforts and adherence to GMP and ISO standards.
Qualifications

2+ years of experience in biotech, pharmaceutical, or life sciences environment preferred.

Strong understanding of material inspection, documentation, and quality control procedures.

Ability to work independently across multiple sites with a high level of reliability.

Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation required.

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
