Certified Medical Assistant

Pay: $21-24/hour, depending on experience

Schedule: Pop-Up Event
Tuesday 06/02, 3:30PM – 10:30PM
Wednesday 06/03, 2PM – 9PM
Thursday 06/04, 5:30AM – 1PM
Friday 06/05, 5:30AM – 10AM
*Will have 1 day of virtual training the week prior*

Requirements: 

• Must hold active National Medical Assistant Certification (AAMA, AMT, NHA, NCCT)
• 2+ years of Medical Assistant experience
• Must have experience with phlebotomy / administering injections

Responsibilities:

• Provide support to physicians, RNs, and other staff members in performing physical examinations and other procedures
• Perform electrocardiograms (EKGs) and other medical screenings
• Perform blood draws – phlebotomy experience is a must
• Measure vital signs (pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight and height)
• Record information on patients’ charts
• Prepare treatment rooms for examination of patients
• Answering incoming phone calls and check patients in
