A growing organization is seeking a Safety Leader to elevate and support site-level safety operations and culture. This position will work closely with leadership, managers, and employees to reduce risk, ensure compliance, and implement proactive safety strategies across their assigned region.
What You’ll Do:
- Work on large scale excavation projects, utility installation, drainage projects, city infrastructure projects, site grading, utility work and heavy construction
- Act as a key partner to leadership to implement and improve health and safety initiatives

Lead risk assessments, site audits, and drive safety-forward behavior and policies – boots on the ground

Guide management and staff through incident investigations, OSHA/MSHA inspections, and compliance initiatives

Support KPI development, reporting, and continuous improvement

Provide training and coaching to build a culture of safety and awareness
What We’re Looking For:
- 5+ years of experience in Safety within Civil & Heavy Excavation – MUST HAVE
- Experience in large scale excavation projects, utility installation, drainage projects, city infrastructure projects, site grading, utility work and heavy construction
- ???????Hands-on experience navigating OSHA – Certification MUST HAVE
- ???????MSHA regulations – bonus
- Strong communication, leadership, and coaching skills
- Someone who can be both strategic and boots-on-the-ground
